  • Potatoes – You can use almost any variety of potatoes for this. I like to use golden Russet potatoes.
  • Olive Oil – Other oil varieties can also be used.
  • Salt – Flaky sea salt works amazing but any variety will do the job. Garlic salt adds depth of flavour.
  • Crushed Black Pepper – This makes a lot of difference in giving some character to the potato faces.

How To Make Monster Baked Potato For Halloween Dinner Party:

Step 1: Wash potatoes and pat dry to remove excess moisture.

Step 2: Using something sharp make some holes on one side of the potatoes to create eyes and mouth. It’s best to dig deep as the after effects will be great.

Step 3: Place the potatoes on a bowl and season well with some Olive oil, Garlic salt and Crushed black pepper.

Step 4: Lay them on a parchment lined baking tray and bake in 180° C pre heated oven for 30 minutes.

Step 5: After done, let them cool down and that is when they start to become spooky with the shrinking of the skin.

The easiest of all. This one literally does not need anything doing. Just peel off the skin and stick a small something on top center to make them look like gorgeous mini pumpkins. I have used chili tops; using a Pepper stalk or small cuttings from celery will also do the job.

Another easy peasy one. This one is also quick and fun to make. Taking the skin off is optional. Slice each apple as thick or thin you like and the take the center out. Next apply some sort of edible glue, and put Candy Googly Eyes which makes them really look creepy. I have used tube icing for glue which works great. You can also use some melted chocolate to hold the spooky eyes.

This one is just slice and put candy eyes. I like to slice them in an angle so that there is space for placing the candy google eyes. You can even do rounds or any shape that pleases you.

How far in advance can I make these Healthy Halloween Snacks?

I would suggest to make them just couple of hours before the party as fruits can get black spots if done long before. You could make some of them in advance such as carrots, cucumbers, oranges and off course the chocolates. Bananas and Apples are the ones that you shouldn’t make in advance.

Make sure to cover them up with plastic wrap and refrigerate for freshness.

What should I do with the leftover Halloween Snacks?

If you have any leftover snacks, it’s best not to throw them away. They will make a tasty smoothie. You can also chop them up and use for a tasty fruit salad with touch of seasonings.

Step 1: Take two slices of bread for each spooky faced sandwich and cut the centres with a square cookie cutter.

Step 3: Now using something small and round cut two eyes on the other bread slice and using another smaller round cutter make two nostril holes.

Step 4: Place the face cut one on top of the jam one and press the corners to seal and secure filling.

  • Rice – Regular cooked rice but not the sticky type.
  • Chocolate – Try to use quality chocolate for best taste and make sure to use at least 50% cocoa ones.
  • Water – Plain warm water.
  • Honey – Honey is used as a natural sweetener for this tasty dessert treat but you can skip if you like.

How To Make Rice Chocolate Mousse:

Step-by-Step Instructions For Making Rice Chocolate Mousse

Step 1: Melt the Chocolate

Melt Chocolate. You can use a double boiler or just melt them using your microwave. I use a microwave as it’s much faster and easier.

Step 2: Blend Everything

Put everything in the blender jug for making a delicious blend of mousse. Rice, Warm water, Chocolate and Honey – all goes in the blender and depending on the speed of your blender, blend until you get creamy consistency. Once you are happy with the outcome, pour them in dishes.

Step 3: Chill the Mousse

Now that all easy things are done, the hard part starts which is chilling the mousse and waiting for it to be ready. The good news is that it settles very quickly. Just pop the dish or small dishes in the frisge for 2-3 hours and they will be ready to enjoy.

Choosing the Right Chocolate:

Chocolate is the key ingredient for making Chocolate mousse and hence the type of chocolate you choose is crucial for the desserts final taste. Opt for high-quality dark or semi-sweet chocolate with at least 50% cocoa for this recipe. The better the chocolate, the more delicious your mousse will be. Avoid using chocolate chips, as they contain stabilizers that can affect the melting process.

It’s very popular and requires a ‘Tandoor’ which is a special kidn of oven to make this falvourful delicious chicken dish. But if you have an Air fryer at home then give this recipe a try and you will be amazed at the result.

To make this delicious Air fryer chicken tnadoori, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Chicken – Any Chicken piece can be used but drumsticks and thighs are the most flavourful parts.
  • Greek Yogurt – You can use any thick yogurt.
  • Salt – Adjust salt according to your taste.
  • Paprika – Gives smokey color and flavor to the dish.
  • Cayenne – Gives a kick to the grilled meat.
  • Turmeric Powder – Gives the traditional flavour to this Tandoori chicken.
  • Garam Masala Powder – Is one of the essential spices for this chicken dish.
  • Cumin Powder – Skip if you do not have it to hand but flavour might compromise.

  • Clean and pat dry chicken pieces and then make some butterfly cuts on them to help marinade spread all over.

Make a Tandoori chicken marinade by mixing Greek yogurt, Salt, Paprika powder, Cayenne, Turmeric powder, Garam masala powder, Cumin powder, Ginger garlic paste, Tomato puree and Lemon juice. Mix everything together to make a thick paste.

Marinate the Chicken:

  • Add the delicious marinade on chicken pieces, ensuring each piece is well coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for the best flavor.

Oil Coating:

  • Add oil to chicken and then give a final mix before placing them in the air fryer basket.

Achieving the perfect crispy texture can be done using various cooking methods, such as baking, frying, or air frying. The most common method is deep frying which makes them very tasty but not a healthy way. These air fryer crispy chicken wings are not only juicy, crispy and tasty but a much healthier option for enjoying chicken wings.

How To Make The Best Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Follow simple steps to make the best crispy chicken wings in the air fryer.

Prepare The Wings: 

Clean chicken wings and cut each wing into two parts, discarding the bottom part as they burn quickly.

Pat dry the wings paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Toss Chicken Wings With Seasonings: 

In a small bowl add Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Garlic powder, onion powder and Lemon juice to chicken wings, mix very well and marinade for 1 hour. You can marinade for longer in the refrigerator.

Add olive oil to the wings and mix well.

Make The Crispy Coating: 

Make a coating of Corn flour, Tapioca starch and Baking soda in a bowl.

Coat each wing piece in flour coating mix and shake off excess.

Air Fry Chicken Wings: 

Put them in the air fryer in single layer and it’s better if they do not touch each other.

Air fry at 200 C for 20-22 minutes or until crispy and golden.

Halfway through brush with some oil and if possible then turn them as well.

It’s very easy to make this delicious and fancy looking side dish that everyone would love to have. You can make them for dinner for family and it also works great for Barbeque parties. It requires just few ingredients and you can alter them according to your taste and preference.

To make this spicy Tiger prawns at home, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Tiger Prawns – Try to use big ones for better taste.
  • Dried Red Chili – You can use mild ones for kids.
  • Garlic Clove – Goes very well with any seafood.
  • Onion – Just a little for adding thickness to the marinade.
  • Mayonnaise – Adds extra flavor to the dish.
  • Coriander leaves – This is a flavor enhancing herb.

So you fancy having some chicken tenders and prefer to have it in a healthy way; here’s how to do that in the air fryer at home.

To make this delicious Air fryer chicken tenders, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Chicken – You need chicken breast for this and try to buy thick piece.
  • Flour – Just regular plain flour will do the job.
  • Salt – Adjust salt according to your taste.
  • Black Pepper Powder – Gives a kick to the dish but you can skip if serving to small kids.
  • Paprika – Gives smokey color and flavor to the dish.
  • Onion Granules – Enhances the flavor of the chicken.
  • Egg – amount of eggs depends on the size of chicken.
  • Cheese Tasters – This gives these chicken tenders crispy cheesy flavor but you can also use other coatings.
  • Oil Spray – You can even brush oil instead of oil spray.

How To Make Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Strips:

Preparation:

  • Start by cutting chicken breasts into strips if you’re not using pre-cut tenders.

Breading Station:

  • Set up a breading station. Put Flour in a bowl and add Salt, Black pepper powder, paprika, Onion granules and give a quick mix. On a separate bowl crack egg, beat and set aside. In the third bowl take some crushed Cheese tasters.

Breading Process:

  • Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture first, then on beaten eggs and finally coat it thoroughly with the crumb mixture.

Cooking:

  • Place the breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Lightly spray the chicken tenders with cooking spray to help them crisp up.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the breading is crispy at 180 C.

Serving:

  • Once cooked, let the tenders rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy them with your favorite dipping sauces and side dishes.

  • 1/4 Cup Plain Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Granules
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Cheese Tasters Or cheese puffs
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions

  • Cut chicken breasts into strips.
  • Put flour in a bowl and add Salt, Black pepper powder, paprika, Onion granules and give a quick mix.
  • On a separate bowl crack egg, beat and set aside.
  • In the third bowl take some crushed Cheese tasters.
  • Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture first, then on beaten eggs and finally coat it thoroughly with the crumb mixture.
  • Place the breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray the chicken tenders with cooking spray to help them crisp up. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the breading is crispy at 180 C.
