Crispy chicken wings marinated with herbs and spices and then coated with a secret crispy coating. Air fried them to golden brown when the chicken becomes juicy from inside with a crunchy skin on the outside without the use of a lot of oil.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Kg Chicken Wings
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika 
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 6 Tbsp Corn Flour
  • 6 Tbsp Tapioca Starch
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

Instructions
 

  • Clean chicken wings and cut each wing into two parts, discarding the bottom part as they burn quickly.
  • Pat dry the wings paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a small bowl add Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Garlic powder, onion powder and Lemon juice to chicken wings, mix very well and marinade for 1 hour. You can marinade for longer in the refrigerator.
  • After marination is done add olive oil to the wings and mix well.
  • Make a coating of Corn flour, Tapioca starch and Baking soda in a bowl.
  • Coat each wing piece in flour coating mix and shake off excess.
  • Put them in the air fryer in single layer and it’s better if they do not touch each other. Air fry at 200 C for 20-22 minutes or until crispy and golden.
  • Halfway through brush with some oil and if possible then turn them as well.
