Crispy air fryer chicken wings

Crispy chicken wings marinated with herbs and spices and then coated with a secret crispy coating. Air fried them to golden brown when the chicken becomes juicy from inside with a crunchy skin on the outside without the use of a lot of oil.

- 1 Kg Chicken Wings
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 6 Tbsp Corn Flour
- 6 Tbsp Tapioca Starch
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
Clean chicken wings and cut each wing into two parts, discarding the bottom part as they burn quickly.
Pat dry the wings paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a small bowl add Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Garlic powder, onion powder and Lemon juice to chicken wings, mix very well and marinade for 1 hour. You can marinade for longer in the refrigerator.
After marination is done add olive oil to the wings and mix well.
Make a coating of Corn flour, Tapioca starch and Baking soda in a bowl.
Coat each wing piece in flour coating mix and shake off excess.
Put them in the air fryer in single layer and it’s better if they do not touch each other. Air fry at 200 C for 20-22 minutes or until crispy and golden.
Halfway through brush with some oil and if possible then turn them as well.
