Clean and pat dry chicken pieces and then make some butterfly cuts on them.
Make a Tandoori chicken marinade by mixing Greek yogurt, Salt, Paprika powder, Cayenne, Turmeric powder, Garam masala powder, Cumin powder, Ginger garlic paste, Tomato puree and Lemon juice. Mix everything together to make a thick paste.
Add the delicious marinade on chicken pieces, ensuring each piece is well coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for the best flavor.
Add oil to chicken and then give a final mix before placing them in the air fryer basket.
Place the marinated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry the chicken at 390°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. The chicken should be cooked through with a slight char on the outside.
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken. It should reach 165°F (74°C).
