Dehydrate in the Air Fryer: Place the tray or basket into the air fryer. Dehydrate the strawberry slices at the low temperature 60 C for about 6 hours, checking periodically. The exact time may vary depending on the thickness of your slices and the specific model of your air fryer. The strawberries are ready when they are dried, slightly shriveled, and have a chewy texture.

Cool and Store: Once dehydrated, remove the strawberry chips from the air fryer and let them cool completely They will crisp up slightly as they cool. Store the dehydrated strawberry chips in an airtight container at room temperature. They should stay crispy and flavorful for several weeks.

What is Tzatziki Sauce?

In one sentence Tzatziki is a healthy sauce. It’s made with fresh ingredients and can be served cold or at room temperature. The key ingredients are Cucumber and Yogurt, slightly seasoned with Salt, Pepper Lemon and Garlic, finished with drizzle of Olive Oil and Dill. This sauce is the most popular sauce/dip in Greece. They serve it with a lot of dishes.

Tzatziki, also know as tarator or cacik was originated during the Ottoman Empire. This sauce is a refreshing dip which lightens up many main dishes and can be enjoyed with variety of side dishes as well. It can be a dippin sauce and also can be a filler sauce for wraps and more.

How does Tzatziki Sauce taste like?

Tzatziki is a very refreshing sauce. This sauce will make such a difference in your food. All the ingredients used in Authentic Tzatziki sauce are natural and healthy. Cucumber and Greek Yogurt has cooling effect and hence this is a great dipping sauce for the summer. Creamy Greek yogurt makes the sauce slightly salty and Lemon makes it slightly tangy. Both Garlic and Black pepper makes it aromatic and adds a kick to the simple sauce. In one sentence I can say it’s a sour, creamy, salty, crunchy sauce.

What to Eat with Tzatziki

The best pair with Tzatziki is Pita bread. It might seem boring but the pairing is awesome.

In Greece Tzatziki is served with Gyros or any sort of grilled meat. The sauce is dense but compared to meat it’s mild that makes the perfect balance.

Another great combination would be to serve with any sort of roast potatoes. 

Use as a dip for fresh vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, broccoli etc.

Use it as a sauce on kebab rolls or even as a dipping sauce with kebabs. In Greece it’s served with Souvlaki.

Serve it with heavy meat based appetisers as it takes the load off from meats.

You may also mix it with your salad dressing.

Make ahead and serve fresh

Ingredients

Greek yogurt: The recipe requires use of creamy Greek yogurt and I always use full fat. If you are watching your weight you may use a low fat one. It will still taste great.

Cucumber: Make sure to peel off skin as otherwise the skin will tint the sauce a faint yellow-greenish colour.

Garlic: Garlic makes the sauce extra special but if you don’t like the flavour of it, you may use less.

Lemon: Adds a kick to the sauce with its aroma.

Fresh dill: I like mine with a pretty pronounced dill flavor but you can cut back a little if preferred. Mint is another option here.

Salt: Although there will be salt in Yogurt, still some extra is required to balance Lemon. You can use sea salt, table salt or kosher salt.

Black Pepper: Try to use freshly crushed Black Pepper for better sharp taste.

Extra virgin olive oil: Adds bold flavour to the sauce and helps everything blends so well.

Top Tips for the Best Tzatziki Sauce:

Always grate your Cucumber. I have heard people using a food processor which definitely saves time but to get the best texture and taste cucumbers must be grated for this sauce.

Try to use quality thick yogurt and strain it

Liquid is the enemy for this sauce and you must make sure you have squeezed out extra liquid from both Cucumbers and Greek Yogurt.

Chill before serving. It’s one of those food items that requires some time to build up the flavours.

HOW TO MAKE Tzatziki Sauce:

Ingredients

1 Cucumber

500 g Greek Yogurt

1 Lemon Juice

2-3 Cloves of Garlic

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Crushed Black Pepper

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

2 Tbsp Dill

Instructions

First take skin off from 1 large Cucumber and grate it with a grater.

Add 1/4 tsp Salt to it and leave for 10 minutes to ooze out liquid. 

Tzatziki Sauce

Place Greek Yogurt in a cheese cloth and let it strain extra liquid.

Tzatziki Sauce

In a bowl put strained cucumber, strained Yogurt, Salt, Pepper, Lemon juice, minced Garlic, Olive oil and Dill. Mix everything, cover and let rest for few hours or if you have time then overnight.

There’s a great deal of similarities in Keto diet recipes and Gluten-free recipes. In most cases, Keto diet recipes are either flour free or use flour that does not contain gluten. This recipe doesn’t use any flour hence it is perfect for anyone who is gluten intolerant, making it a gluten-free recipe.

Keto Garlic Bread

How does it taste like?

This cheesy Garlic bread comes out great. It’s bit on the salty side due the quantity of cheese used. You can serve it with mild sauce or even some ketchup. Another simple way to reduce some saltiness is by using 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese and 1 cup of Parmesan cheese and skipping Cheddar cheese completely. Mozzarella tends to be very less salty and that’s why it can be a great way for reducing salt in this recipe.

Serving Suggestion:

You can serve these simple low carb Garlic breads in few different ways. Firstly you can slice them and serve as sides. And another nice way would be to make small squares of them and serve as snack bites with some Yogurt dip or other sauce.

I thought about another interesting way for using them and that is on Salad. You can chop them or do mini squares and mix them in your Salad bowl instead of just Cheese portions.

HOW TO MAKE KETO CHEESY GARLIC BREAD:

Ingredients

1 Cup shredded Parmesan

1/2 Cup shredded cheddar

1/2 cup shredded Mozarella

1 egg

1 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp oregano

Instructions

First Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and prepare a lined baking sheet with parchment paper.

Take a bowl and combine all of the ingredients together. Mix everything with a fork or spoon. Egg will work as a binder for this mixture and I can guarantee 1 egg is enough for the mixture.

Spread out your mixture on the parchment paper into any shape you like. I usually make the sides straight as I like to cut sticks out of them.

Put tray in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

  • 1 Sheet Phyllo sheet
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Raw honey
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 170 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Apply generous amount of Extra virgin Olive oil on Phyllo sheet. 
  • Place a whole block of Feta cheese on the the middle of the top side of phyllo leaving a 3-4 inch gap. Wrap the phyllo like an envelope applying Olive oil after each folding making sure there is grease on all sides of the sheet.
  • Apply Olive oil all over.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden.
  • Put generous amount of honey on top and sprinkle toasted Sesame seeds.

These Keto diet friendly Spinach tortillas are very easy to make. You don’t need to roll them. It’s a 30 sec batter that you can do using your blender and just pour the liquid pan for perfect circle shapes. It’s amazing how only two ingredients are all you need for making tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 65 g Spinach
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
  • Oil for greasing the pan

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a blender jug and blend until smooth.
  • Put a pan on medium heat and pour 1/3 of the mixture to make 1 Tortilla. Cook with lid on for 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove lid, flip and cook without cover for another minute.

Hello Keto dieters!! I am very excited to share with you this delicious super simple dessert recipe. It’s a Keto cheesecake recipe which you can make in 1 minute and you don’t even need an oven for it. This recipe calls for a microwave and you can make it in just 1 minute. Now, doesn’t that call for a high five? If you are not someone who is doing a Keto diet, you can just swap sweetener with regular sugar; spoon for spoon.

I myself is a cheesecake lover and I love to try out cheesecakes from different shops. But todays recipe is for all those people who are working hard to shed pounds off but would like to enjoy great food at the same time. Keto diet is such a great one and is helping thousands of people around the world. This easy 1 minute delicious cheesecake recipe will not only satisfy your craving for something sweet or something cheesy but if you are on a Keto diet, you can have it without breaking the rules!

Traditional Cheesecake recipes will call for using some crumbs which is mostly carbohydrate and we are skipping that from this Keto dessert but it’s still a great one to enjoy. The result comes so great that you would think it’s a baked one whereas you have spent less than five minutes in your kitchen.

Now, I have made the Keto dieters happy but as this recipe does not use any crumbs or carbs, it’s also Gluten free which makes it a great dessert for people who are gluten intolerant. An easy recipe, takes only a minute to make and requires just a microwave…can it get any better? Now let’s jump to the recipe and details of making this one minute treat.

Keto Cheesecake in microwave

A keto diet special recipe made in 1 minute in the microwave

Ingredients

  • 140 g Cream cheese Room temperature
  • 1 Egg Room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp Natural sweetner Powder form
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp Melted butter unsalted

Instructions

  • Melt some unsalted butter and using a brush apply on the ramekins. Make sure to apply on all sides and the bottom of the pots. This will help you take out the cheesecakes easily from your ramekins.
  • Take a bowl and add cream cheese to that and soften it using a spatula or spoon.
  • Add 1 large room temperature egg and mix until smooth
  • Add powder sweetener and vanilla and mix everything until smooth
  • Pour cheese mixture on ramekins
  • Put the ramekins in the centre of the microwave for 1 minute to 1 minute and 15 seconds
  • Take them out of the microwave and let them cool down
  • Wrap and chil in the fridge for 2 hours to set
