Pre-heat your oven to 400 F (200 C).
Line muffin tray with parchments papers. This recipe yields 9 muffins.
Put Flour, Pumpkin spice, Baking soda and Salt in a bowl and combine.
Put Pumpkin purée, White sugar, Brown sugar, Egg, Vanilla, oil in another bowl and whisk to combine.
Mix dry and wet mixtures together and combine to create a batter.
In a separate bowl whisk cream cheese and then add Egg yolk, sugar and vanilla and whisk to make a paste.
Pour pumpkin batter into muffin holes. Fill up up-to 2/3.
Put around 1 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture on top. Swirl cream cheese mixture using a toothpick.
Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
Let cool down for five minutes and then transfer them into a cooling rack.
