Add 1 Tablespoon of flour to chocolate chips and coat them. This will help the chips get all over the batter and they will not sink to the bottom of the liners when baked.
In a bowl mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl whisk eggs with sugar and then add mashed bananas. Then add oil followed by Vanilla extract and mix to combine.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and combine. Only mix until just combined and don it over mix the batter.
Add flour coated chocolate chips and fold in gently to distribute them evenly throughout the batter.
Scoop inthe batter into muffins cups. Fill up 2/3 of the cases. Add some chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the top is cracked, golden brown. Use a toothpick to check the center.
Let cool on a wire rack for five minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack.
