Clean chicken thoroughly and then make some cuts to help marinade properly.
Pat dry the whole chicken paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a small bowl add all ingredients and make a marinade mixture. Rub the chicken with marinade very well ensuring the marination reaches everywhere.
Marinade chicken for at least 4 hours; overnight marination in the fridge is even better.
Preheat your air fryer to the recommended temperature for grilling (usually around 200°C or as per your air fryer’s instructions).
Put whole chicken inside and grill for 20 minutes at 180°C.
Carefully turn the chicken and cook for another 20 minutes.
Drain the juice that went to the bottom of the drawer and pour it over the chicken and cook for another 20 minutes halfway drain and pour again.
