Method
- Devein Prawns and dab with kitchen towel to take out excess moisture.
- Put Prawns, Egg white, Salt, Black pepper powder, Garlic powder, Sesame oil and Corn flour in food processor and run for around 1 minute.
- Put mixture in piping bag and cut a hole.
- Put oil in a pan and wait until it's medium hot.
- Pipe 1 inch Shrimp paste into oil and cook for just 1 minute on all sides.
- Take out in kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
Notes
- Make sure there is no extra water on the shrimp. Use a kitchen towel to take out extra moisture.
- Run food processor for around 1 minute to give the mixture some air and volume.
- If you do not like the strong flavour of Sesame oil, use some other oil.
- If oil is too hot your shrimp appetisers will burn and if it's too low then they will absorb a lot of oil and when taken out of oil they will shrink.
