This is a literally no prep required treat. You just need 2 minutes to assemble few great ingredients. I did this easy Feta-Phyllo appetiser while while making up and telling a wonderful story to my 3 years old. And my boy was starting by me watching me doing something looked like wrapping food and putting them in the oven. It’s really that simple!
What is Phyllo?
Well Phyllo is the key ingredient in this recipe as many other ingredients are. The difference is Phyllo is the ingredient that not only holds the whole goodness but gives the food all its crunch. It’s a paper thin delicate pastry. This pastry is brushed with grease such as melted butter, olive oil and baked with different filling inside until golden to vision and crispy to texture.
You will typically find phyllo dough in the frozen section almost all big grocery store and its’s as easy to use wrap for many snacks and desserts. I have shared some amazing Baklava recipes using this phyllo sheets. You might like my

Why Olive Oil and not Melted Butter?
This question might arise to many due to the heavy use of melted butter in Baklava making and in use in other Phyllo recipes. Although generous amounts of honey is used to sweeten the pastry, this is a savoury Phyllo wrap which is best done with Olive oil. I prefer to use good quality Extra Virgin Olive oil for better taste.
This is one of my few Greek recipe shares. If you like Greek cuisine you might like my Greek Lemon Chicken & Potato Bake recipe from my YouTube channel. It’s a special one with secret ingredients for making juicy Chicken and Potato. I have also shared some Baklava recipes in my blog.
